More waiting

Weeks have gone by since the last post. Each week passing by with an email requesting what the latest status was...with the same reply that they would take a look at the application and get back to us. The way they write these emails, it seems like they haven't even touched it, what a huge disappointment.

Also, I hope all these New Zealand and Indian public holidays are not stretching the delay, it shouldn't, right?

Since there has been a delay, our plans for OUTSHINE this year have been affected and I'm gutted as.

So now its time to do a bit of demanding tactics and lets see if they are more likely to give a better answer or even better, the visa.

What do you think theres actually a good reason why its so delayed?

Little India...I mean Tiny India

Here are some things I have purchased to take home with us...tiny awesome cuteness :D

Good to have a double up I guess for your handbag, car, office and/or other rooms through out the house.

I wanted our NZ family to get a feel of whats available in India and Indian stuff  I reakon quite a bit of it is world class.

Loads of whitening products as is across Asia which doesn't tickle my fancy :) . Products for thick long black hair, various talc powders for the summers and cold creams for the winter and so forth. However, my fave product and am obsessed with is Rose water, used as a toner.

These are not samples and are available so that anyone with a few rupees can get their essentials plus more....approx NZ .25c - $1 a pop.

Are these available in the Indian Shop, maybe in Auckland? Let me know.

Wait for the VIsa

Can I please have a couple of these Sir/Madam...pretty please :)

Today marks 2 months of awesome Visa waiting time…yay not.

I really thought it would have been max. 1 month, especially with our circumstances however, nope.

We applied for a New Zealand tourist visa for Abdullah and Ayana, who are Indian.
The visa had been submitted with the help of a travel agent because we weren’t sure of the procedure. Although, the travel agent was also a first timer (with our type of case)...great.

So, with the application as advised by the travel agent and not entirely mentioned in the form.
Here was what was initially submitted:
·    Visa tourist form
·    An email from Abdullah’s mother-in-law announcing a family reunion.
-    Mother-in-law's bank statement for 3 months.
·    A letter from Abdullah of his plans in New Zealand.
·    Copy of my New Zealand passport.
·    Bank account statement to insure you can support your entire trip.
·    Visa photos: with white background
·    And passports

This was Submitted in early February.

An email from the embassy had been received in late February asking for more information:
·    Wedding photos and Video.
·    Marriage Certificate
·    Child’s Birth Certificate.
·    Some form of evidence that we live together e.g. shared bank account.

In late March we had contacted again to see what the status was. A reply was received and he’ll be back to us with an answer at the end of this week.

As a New Zealander, first I applied for an Indian tourist Visa. It took 2 weeks and I showed no paper work other than the form itself and passport.

Now really New Zealand Embassy,  just for a tourist visa? Even if we were to stay, everything is legal…we’ll bring money into the economy…peace of mind for family and friends…blaaahh

Please come on man, I just wanna go home with my family.

Did you have any issues with Visa issuing?
